Governance
Accountability and transparency are critical to Net Zero Australia. This study aims to be technology neutral, evidence driven and non-political.
Net Zero Australia is a partnership funded by gifts or grants from our sponsors. The study is implemented through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between partners:
- The University of Melbourne
- The University of Queensland
- Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment
- Nous Group.
The study is governed by a Steering Committee that is supported by a team of researchers and an Advisory Group.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is the executive committee for Net Zero Australia. The Committee is responsible for the strategy, scope, and focus of the project, and provides direction and approvals to the researchers. The Committee is currently comprised of the following individuals:

Advisory Group
The Advisory Group advises the Steering Committee on the planning, conduct, and findings of the Net Zero Australia study. The Group is currently comprised of nominees from the following organisations:
